# Any advice on how to help my tiny raven ZZ grow? I’ve repotted with…

Any advice on how to help my tiny raven ZZ grow? I’ve repotted with new soil, tried more light, less light, fertilizer, humidity adjustments, whispering affirmations to it, and I’ve gotten no growth. Aside from one of the stems dying off asap, it’s looked the same since I got it NINE MONTHS AGO!

i put mine under a grow light and it has grown almost twice it’s size in two months

So I’ve had my zz plants for a few years now. It seems like they only sprout new stems in the spring. They have rhizomes roots and I think they store energy and nutrients all summer long for the next growing season. The more light and food it gets on the off season, the bigger the new stems will be. Or at least, that’s my observations. The super tall one on my raven was this year’s biggest stem
