My Madagascar palm shot a pup off of the trunk. Didn’t know they did this, should I chop it or let it ride?

Let it get weird.

Long story, but a friend of mine inherited a 6’ one that was just the stalk - no head. It grew three long heads and a small leafy neck to peek out a tiny window. I inherited one of the heads.

The blurb about these that stuck out as I was panicking over the responsibility was “they have amazing regenerative powers.”
