It’s a Purple Heart tradescantia (a.k.a. Wondering dude, inch plant). It loses its color if sunlight is insufficient. They prefer full sun. That mother plant is also leggy trying to reach the sunlight. It’s easy care given proper light, water and fertilizer. They are considered weeds in several states.
