# Little backstory- I’ve been trying to water propagate my starry night…

Little backstory- I’ve been trying to water propagate my starry night petunia (it’s been a month \& this is all the root that has come out) but the leaves have started turning purple! What does this mean? Should I be worried? Is the cutting dead? Any help is appreciated. #starrynight #petunia #cutting #propagation

No don’t be worried, it can take months sometimes. You can get rooting hormone powder to add to the water that can speed up the process.
