# Alright plant people. Bunny ear cacti….any advice on how to handle…

Alright plant people. Bunny ear cacti….any advice on how to handle these?? Mine will need repotted again in the next year or so. I’d also like to propagate some pads if I can! Even if I move the pot slightly I risk the little spines getting all over me. It started as a just a little fella, but it’s been growing SO FAST and now it’s pretty big and more difficult to water!!

I’ve gotten gloves that were made for handing spiky plants, but it’s like the little spikes just go right through them.

Thank you!! I love him so much, even though he gets me every single time I water him or anything 😂

I heard people use welding gloves. Have not tried it myself

I take a mattress topper…wad it up and BAM! It works pretty well, I have a small one and I’m dreading for it to get big like the other one!
