Hi! I just got my 2nd Tillandsia Ionantha, and was wondering how to water or how often?

Was planning on watering every three days, by misting it well, shaking the water off, and then drying. I’ve heard many different things so just wondering, is that alright? And with distilled water?

Just curious.

I water my air plant by completely submerging it in water for about 15/30 minutes and then shake excess water off and let dry outside for a bit before putting her back. I also mist her occasionally. I believe I water about once a week and most every few days, but I just go by plantas recommendations. I just use tap water

I do the same. Also add liquid fertilizer to the water as needed
