Do you all treat your plants when you bring them home with neem oil even if you don’t see any little critters on them? As a preventative measure ## 5 comments ### Anya commented on 2023-08-05 Yes I would recommend treating them! But some plants don’t do well with Neem oil (many succulents) so using Castile soap and water works well. Also maybe get something as a preventative for fungus gnats #### Tae replied on 2023-08-05 Awesome. That’s what I was thinking. I have a pink nerve plant and calathea… I think that’s how you spell that one ### MamaJuju commented on 2023-08-05 ^ AGREE! ### Plant Father commented on 2023-08-05 quarantining plants has been enough for me, if you have the space you can set the new plants away from others and watch closely for signs of pests over the next 4-6 weeks (most pests’ life cycles fit within this time frame). i do use a drop of castile soap (dr bronner’s) mixed with some water whenever i have a pest issue #### Tae replied on 2023-08-06 Thanks so much --- _Source: the Planta community (https://getplanta.com).
