# Need some advice my arrowhead plant that I have had for about two…

_Posted by Dani on 2023-08-02_

Need some advice my arrowhead plant that I have had for about two years has vined, I’m not sure how to prop it up because the way the stems curve. Should I separate them? What is the best way to get her to start growing up again, or is this a normal thing and just leave her as is?

She would need something to climb to grow up, like this image I found (not my plant) on a moss pole. If you choose to prop, just make sure you trim of sections with a couple of nodes ☺️ I would guess she’s craving towards a light source? If so you can try to untangle her and rotate her around, she’s a beaut!

Mine was getting to bushy as well so I made a trellis for the training side to grow upwards and it’s doing well! I suggest doing the same or something similar! Your plant is beautiful and is looking in amazing condition 😍

They are such a viney plant, which is something I love about them! A moss pole, like Tiffany mentioned, is a great solution if you want the height. I don’t have anything for mine and just let the vines spill over the pot. I love how bushy they can get!
