Any suggestions for indoor trees (or other tall-growing plant)? There is a Lot of bright indirect sun in my room, but I don't have a spot in the direct light.

Must be non-toxic to cats as well. Mine are pretty good about leaving plants alone (aside from the maidenhair fern I used to have... RIP) but I do find the occasional bite mark 😅

Dracena. Corn plant. Snake plant. I am not sure if they are toxic or not you will have to check but that is all the tall plants I can think of.

Ahhh that’s a shame. It seems that quite a few plants are toxic to animals which sad

Maybe some sort of palm? I have a small parlour palm, it’s pet safe but slow growing. There are other varieties that grow bigger and faster that are still pet safe I believe.

You might be able to find some small bonsai at big box stores that may be non toxic it’s hard to know for sure one method I do is spreadsheets so I can easily map out and navigate care and other requirements then all you have left is to cross match with your environment and tracing down the plant. Unfortunately lots of house plants are toxic so it’s very hard to narrow down some and plus most non toxic tend to be more smaller then what you are looking for. Couldn’t hurt to take a trip to some plant shops and taking note of what’s available.

Ponytail Palm is one that my cats love. Mine is very hardy and has had many leaves eaten off. I’m surprised it hasn’t kicked the bucket yet.
