This question is for those of you who are in the heat zone now🥵🥵🥵🥵 and use planta as your watering guide.. do you think it takes into consideration 3 weeks of temps over 100 degrees? I’m finding I need to water more frequently.. and these are all indoor plants..lots of drooping leaves

All my plants are currently outdoors on a covered patio (zone 6). It’s been hot af last two weeks. But even before then, I water everyday. I don’t use Planta for watering schedule, my shit would be dead (I’ve actually turned off the scheduled watering and fertilizing reminders).

Gah, and if you look at my profile “bathroom” plants are just my plants that are still in soil. They all go water -> LECA. Which also can make watering wayyyy easier.

Leca looks so convenient and would help solve my problem with tipping over plants. Is there a group for hydroponics?

There is not. Boo. Lol.

I use a cheap moisture gauge that I’ve had for years. I check my plants for when it’s time to water and I also leave it in while watering so that I can get them on the low end of moist.

Mine is oddly accurate. I don’t know how often this is happening for you, but more warmth and sun means more growth. I’d be checking roots to see if some of the babies need new homes. I know my roots are going ham rn

I used Planta for my plants most were great.. Until I got a bonsai tree it said water EVERY 3 WEEKSSS!!! My bonsai dried outttt. Nearly killed it… 9 months later it is coming back slowly because it is outside and watered nearly everyday…

I use the stick method to see how dry the soil is that helps me to know when to water
