# Just got four fruit trees (dwarfs). Two lemon trees, one lime, and…

Just got four fruit trees (dwarfs). Two lemon trees, one lime, and one fig. It’s hot in La right now. This app says to water every three days but I’m thinking once a day. Thoughts?

Also, when do I start fertilizing?

I have 2 Meyer, 1 line and 1 orange. In the Texas heat I am watering all of them every three days. Mine do fine in the extended 100+ stretches we get.

The lemons will wilt when they need water (although I wouldn’t recommend waiting that long)

Yeah, the leaves droop some.
