Hey y’all!! I just got this cute little Alocasia from Lowe’s, but I can’t seem to find a ID on which type of Alocasia she is! Does anyone here know?? The base is pink and leaves are very arrow shaped.

I think it might be the alocasia imperial red? Or pink coast.

Ok… after giving it a google, I think it might be an Ivory Coast! Looks similar to a pink dragon but pink dragons have a purple underside whereas Ivory Coast is bright green. Which is what this plant has! Thanks for everyone’s suggestions!!

Not sure about this one but my local Lowe’s had some beautiful Green Velvet Alocasia today I was soooo tempted ☹️ might have to go back tomorrow to get one…

Beware of these tend to be infested from Lowe’s I found so many mites and hard water damage on their plants this def need some tlc before it’s brought to the rest of your plants

I always spray for pests and give my plants systemic granules first thing!! I’m terrified of pests. Lol and yeah a lot of Lowe’s plants do have mites. I even saw one that had what looked like thrips? It grossed me out so much.

I went to get a birds nest fern that had a cute pot like yours but grey but it was INFESTED with spider mites thickest webs I’ve ever seen in my experience. I immediately got the other one, which if has any is minimal but rip to the grey pot I ended up with a peach one like yours.

I hate that!! If I like pot I’ll just switch them at Lowe’s. Lol

I should have thought of that tbh but I was just so focus if I wanted the plant or not haha 😂 it’s a decently sized plant biggest in my collection
