My alocasia Polly is showing yellow/orange on leaves and even some holes. I just reported and watered and fertilized her 5 days ago. Her soul is still pretty moist..what can be causing this? I did notice it before repoting…

Make sure the soil has more drainage! Your soil should NOT be moist after 5 DAYS! Having soil so moist can lead to fungus and pests in your plants. Allow for more airflow and light so this doesn’t happen!

Good point.

This could be thrips.

I agree with the person above me. Make sure to quarantine your plants when you first get them and treat this plant with a fungicide like neem oil

you should not have fertilised yet, you don’t know when the last time they were fertilised was. this is probably fertiliser burn, since big farms usually heavily fertilise their plants before sending to stores to ensure that they look good even with no light and bad watering (looking at you, Lowes/Home Depot!). i always wait a month to fertilise. underfertilised is always better than over

I have the same plant and it is doing terrible since I repotted it. Just can't figure this one out so let me know if you figure yours out!
