Which pot is best for my pretty root bound spider plant?! They both have drainage holes and I don’t know which would be better. His roots are lining the bottom but not sticking out, I’m waiting for that then imma repot!

They both should be fine.

Spider plants can go a long time being root bound with sufficient light, fertilizer and water. Yours looks like a 2 inch pot. I recommend using a 6 inch to repot. You can grow a dense healthy plant in a 6 inch pot. It will initially look sparse. Just feed and water per schedule to produce babies. Push the babies back into the pot to fill it. You will get a dense plant that looks great hanging. My pic shows plants in 2.5”, 3” and 6” pots. This is the Bonnie curly variety. Good luck.

honestly both those pots look like a bit of a jump in size to me. when it comes to repotting spider plants, i try to only go up an inch around (from a 3 to 4 inch pot, or 5 to 6, etc) because they really like to be rootbound and they really hate being wet for too long. if you have a pot that is just barely bigger than the one it is in now, i’d think that would be a better choice than these two. however, there’s nothing inherently wrong with those pots so if you’re willing to monitor the watering carefully while it establishes itself in the new pot it should be just fine.

I was going to say the black pot for those big juicy roots
