Looking to buy a monstera. What is the best soil to get? I’ve read about a couple different types but I want to do what’s best.

I use a mix of potting soil, orchid bark, perlite, and earthworm castings and my monstera seems to love it :)))

You’ll see a couple different types because there is no perfect answer :)

A chunky well draining mix is the important take away from all the different types you’ve seen.

I use:  
50% regular potting soil  
50% perlite/orchid bark/lava rock

But the poster above also has a good mixture!

I concur, as long as it’s fast draining, you should be golden ☺️
