# What is a good soil mix? I have some of the Fox Farms soil, some bark…

What is a good soil mix? I have some of the Fox Farms soil, some bark mix and some mosquito bite. Is this a good mix and should I add something else or do something different entirely? Most of my plants need to try out between watering. I have a few of the more tropical type plants that I believe would just need the Fox Farms mix? Any ideas?

usually a third potting mix, a third perlite and a third orchid bark/mix is a good soil mix for house plants

adding perlite and orchid bark would definitely help :)))

I would not mix mosquito bits into/throughout the soil. They will eventually rot in there (corn husk). Those are made to either sprinkle on top (then remove when mold starts to grow, lol) or better yet, soak/make into a tea, and water your plants with it.
