# i need some tips on what to do.. first time plant mam here and my mam…

i need some tips on what to do.. first time plant mam here and my mam gifted me her but i know that the stalk isn’t supposed to be too bent.. is there any way for me to train her to be straight? also does anyone know when she’ll start to flower?

Try a chopstick and zip ties. Start off by wrapping them around the stem loosely and slowly tighten them so it straightens out!!

they don’t actually flower; the leaves change color, and i think they change around the middle / end of fall but i could be wrong! usually the ones we buy from the nursery have been forced, so i’m not sure what their natural season is
