I found this growing next to my dumb cane, alongside the pot. What is it ? Looks freaky. Is it some kind of mushroom ?

looks like a mushroom, they thrive in high moisture. do you water a lot or have high humidity?

I water a lot and i spray with a bottle often as well

Should I stop watering so much, does this damage my plant ?

it looks like Earthstar Fungus! Irs actually great for your plants, considering it helps the plant obtain nitrogen, phosphorus and other nutrients in the soil you use. So you can keep if if youd like, but if not I recommend putting the pot in a place with more air circulation and sunlight, and spraying it with fungicide. :)

Kinda sad I plucked it now 😭 hopefully one grows back
