I just purchased this Alocasia Polly, and it is my first alocasia, so any advice on how to care for it is greatly welcomed! Thanks I’m advance :)

Alocasia really thrives with consistency. It’s a genus that prefers to not dry out completely between waterings but does like an airy mix. They are also pretty heavy feeders. I add Osmocote to the soil AND also fertilize with Dyna Gro Foliage Pro with every watering. They like bright indirect light but not too intense or the leaves may bleach.  
They also prefer a humid environment. 50% + is ideal 🤗  
They also prefer to stay quite snug in their pot, so don’t repot too often and when you do repot, don’t go bigger than 2 sizes tops.

I give my polly filtered water now bc before it died almost immediately from regular tap 😅😅😅

I have carnivorous plants and already have distilled on hand, so that’s great 😂
