# My house plants all of a sudden have like fruit flies or nats flying…

My house plants all of a sudden have like fruit flies or nats flying around them. This one here I think is the source. I know I need to repot this with the correct soil which I will be doing asap. Anyway I can get rid of these bugs?? I absolutely hate bugs and I hate the thought of having to get rid of this new cactus because of them. Please help. Thanks I’m advance!

You can spray with neem or used Cassidy soap to clean the plants or sticky fungus nat traps

Mosquito Bits are my go to for fungus gnats. I’ve had amazing luck with them.

Those are probably fungus gnats their larvae leave in the compost and damage fine plant roots sprinkle ground cinnamon on top of the soil I use it myself and it works great

I had a horrible fungus gnat problem and tried everything recommended already with little relief. I was desperate and found these ridiculous traps called Katchy Duo on Amazon… and they have been a lifesaver (well, my life, not the gnats!). They have a fan and a UV light with a sticky trap inside. It’s disgusting how many they’ve caught. I bought 2 and have them on 24/7 because they have also worked well on various other bugs! They go on sale occasionally too.
