# I just got string of pearls and im introducing it to the light slowly…

I just got string of pearls and im introducing it to the light slowly because I ordered it in the mail, is this the right thing to do or would it be okay if i just put in in the sun instead of indirect? if have any advice please comment!

I put mine in the sun as soon as it arrived! It will acclimate regardless. (I also ordered mine in the mail) 😊

You run the risk of too much sun damage and loosing the plant if you don’t acclimate first. I wouldn’t risk it. I increase the amount of light every day simply by moving it closer to the location it will eventually be at.

Not direct afternoon sun it will burn. Either morning direct sun or slightly shaded if it’s afternoon or they burn on the 90+ days. They like sun but not scorching
