i was wondering if anyone knowns about this plant and if the new paddles are supposed to grow in wrinkly or maybe i’m doing something wrong. the mark on the lower paddles are from frost or cold water i think, it was there when i bought it just looking for basic info on paddle plant only had her a month…. also the paddles have lowered they were facing up more as you can see in plant link photo

Hello!! I work at a plant store and I always tell customers to water their succulents when the leaves turn a little wrinkly and a bit more playable. If you try to bend a succulent leaf the day after it’s watered it will snap, but the day before it needs water you can bend it almost in half. Drooping is for the same reason. Succulent leaves hold water, that’s why they’re thick and fleshy unlike others. So when they’re low on water, their leaves lose shape a little. And the mark is a small flesh wound, it won’t heal but it won’t spread.
