It’s getting scorched by the sun

Mines does the same thing and it’s never directly in the sun

Could be the temperature. Either it’s too hot, too cold or the temperature dropping is too much of a difference like in the morning it could be in the 80s but once it gets dark it goes down to the 60s?

That might be exactly right!

Could also be mites or another pest infestation. 🫣 You may need a flashlight (even in daytime) but check between the leaves for tiny, almost-invisible webbing or other creepy crawlies. You can’t see spider mites but you can see their destruction (crispity crunchity leaves) and webs.

Is it a majesty palm by chance?

I think so!

They are pretty finicky plants and need the perfect humidity, light, and water levels. So I would try to do some research on them if you’re serious about keeping him alive (i have one right now and he has the same burnt tips)
I wish you the best of luck!
Ps, Fun fact they are endangered in the wild and are native to Madagascar!
