# I really need to fix up this Christmas Cactus, I just bought a new…

I really need to fix up this Christmas Cactus, I just bought a new pot for it, but I need to wait till it’s growing season is over. It’s almost finished producing new buds, but the flowers haven’t bloomed yet. I don’t think any flowers bloomed on it last year either. It’s really bugging me how it’s tilted that way.

When I bought it, it came in this plant Christmas set, so there were other plants in there too… I took those out, but the cactus had already started growing sideways!

Should I wait to repot it?

You can repot at any time just make sure you’re using the right type of soil for it. My guess is it doesn’t need to be repotted bc they have a very small root system. Do you have a drainage hole in this pot? That’s what I would suggest.

As for how it’s leaning, it’s going to end up doing that in the new pot too, that’s just how this type of plant grows. Looks healthy!

I understand that the plant will lean a certain way 😊… but the the plant was put in sideways. So i need to straiten it up a bit.

I have this one and thought it was a Christmas cactus until someone told me it’s a thanksgiving cactus! Mine leans a bit but is doing well.
