Fiddle leaf fig tree has Root rot or bacteria?

Watering regularly when 2 “ soil feel dry. Nursery Soil mix was changed about 2 months ago with formulated soil mix for flf from Perfect Plants. He is next to my living room window (west) and has a growing light.  
He has lot of new growths , some with edema.

Based on the yellowing around the brown spots, it may be a fungal infection. I would check the roots to make sure they’re alright and if they are I would look into how to treat a fungal infection for fiddle leaf figs
