# Hi all, Fairly new to keeping plants - I am starting off with two…

Hi all,

Fairly new to keeping plants - I am starting off with two easy ones and I am big on herbs - Basil and Coriander.

I am going to have to leave them on their own due to a family trip coming up and was wondering what I can do re watering them?

Sadly no one can get in to my flat to help me out and I can’t leave water running.

Are there any tips out there that you’ve tried and tested (with great results)?

Thank you in advance!

Auto watering setup app: you can get water timers with hoses that can connect direct to a faucet.

You can literally start and stop the water from around the world if you have a phone. That’s how I keep my plants thriving when I have to leave.

Check out Plantas YouTube channel where we posted a vacation watering guide last summer 🙏🌿
