# Hey guys, newbie here! I just started collecting and loving plants…

Hey guys, newbie here! I just started collecting and loving plants last March and just recently bought this fiddle leaf fig from Walmart, repotted it, fed it some fertilizer, and it has two new leaves!😍 I noticed today that it has started leaning at the top. Is there anything I need to know or do I just need to add a pole for support? If so, any suggestions on what kind of pole? Thanks!😁

You can certainly use a moss pole. I would recommend a thinner moss pole rather than a thick one. Also, making sure to rotate the plant to allow all side even growth will ensure that all sides grow evenly so it does not start to lean. Also, a heavy sturdy pot with drainage is great since these plants can get slightly heavy so a heavy pot will keep it from tipping or falling over. This is just my experiences hope this help! 🪴

Thank you so much, this is sooo helpful and I’ll definitely be ordering it a pole now! Also, I’m so glad now that I repotted it in a pot with drainage! Thanks again!😊

I’d suggest just rotating it a quarter turn each time you water.
