# I have a Fiddle Fig plant. Had for two years. Now has root growing…

I have a Fiddle Fig plant. Had for two years. Now has root growing out of hole in bottom of the pot.  
Believe needs to be reported but aware can this plant can be challenging. The shop said get some coco coir ( which I have now got).  
Should I repot and how? Do I need some potting compost aswell?  
Seems to disturb the plant as little as possible is recommended.

There are very helpful instructions for repotting a fiddle leaf fig in this app. Do a general search for fiddle leaf fig and click on it and it will pop up several articles about the plant and one of them is repotting instructions. Coco coir is a recommended medium along with a couple others. It’s not difficult unless your plant is huge which may mean you’d need another set of hands to help. Good luck!!

Thanks. Will have a look at the App. Plant not huge so hopefully I can sort something.
