# Can someone help me properly identify this plant? Friend gave it to…

Can someone help me properly identify this plant? Friend gave it to me in an underwatered state, so the thin leaves are making it difficult for planta to identify what it is. I could turn the pot a few degrees and the AI thinks it’s a completely different species.

I’m super worried, I want to make sure this is cat safe (it sits on the window where he hangs out) and I want to have the right care schedule for it.

I’m guessing (or hoping really) it’s a gasteraloe. Should I wait after a few waterings to identify?

An app I have says it’s a Gasteraloe.
