# Should I be concerned that my propagated arrowhead has only sprouted…

Should I be concerned that my propagated arrowhead has only sprouted one long root? I propagated it about 3 weeks ago and it is in water. I change the water every 5-7 days

I would give it time, I feel like propagating plants takes forever too! But a watched pot never boils.

I wouldn’t worry too much. Mine tend to sprout one good long root and then start sprouting more with time.

This is common. Mine took a while to get 3 that size then straight to Leca😁
