I am creating a project, it’s an A or B project. Either: A, I get a fish tank and fill it with plants, with a grow light on top. Or B, I get plexi glass and fit it into the small crevice of my shelf, (so my cat can’t get to it) and put a bunch of plants on it, and shine a grow light on it. PLAN B IS THE ROUGH DRAWING IN THE PIC. (This is a big deal to me bc/ I can’t have many plants in my room bc/ of my 3 cats.)

I like plan B 😂 The more plants the merrier. If you do a strip grow light and glue it to the top, it will be hidden and that leaves more room for plants 😬

True, but I kinda like the aesthetic of the lamp! We are going shopping looking for some glass for the crevice. We can’t find it if it was for the life of us! 😅

My family has 10 cats (no joke) and I know your pain!!! I like the fish tank idea actually but make sure to pick plants that thrive in humidity, like ferns! This idea is technically a terrarium and they can be awesome- maybe do some research online first and find out how to set one up! As for plan B, I really like Mons idea about the strip light and think that might be way easier than installing plexiglass. Another thought- maybe you could look for plants that your cats won't really want to eat, like cacti. This works for me- most of my plants are mostly non-toxic but they are mouth irritants. The cats tried nibbling them for a bit but decided there was more fun to be had elsewhere and stopped bothering them. Best of luck!
