# frydek elephant ear? very confused by this. normal frydeks have…

frydek elephant ear? very confused by this. normal frydeks have velvety leaves with the white lines on the leaf, these just look like normal elephant wars with the shape of a frydek. is this a new thing? are these just basic elephant ears with the frydek shape?

Big box stores tend to mislabel plants a lot. This is not a frydek but rather some other kind of alocasia/elephant ear.

I’m with Ana. You can see how different the plant on the label looks, I believe these are mislabeled.
