You can feed butterflies water melon. They drink the juice. Just remember to free them afterwards.

Is this your butterfly? Like a pet? Or are the plants grown outdoors? So curious 🥹

The plants are grown indoors, I brought it in to feed it some watermelon for photo shoots, and it rested on my parlour palm, and red vein plant in some of them. It’s not a pet, I had to release it afterwards.

I cut the flower it was on, and brought it into the house. They like lilac’s.

I usually see their caterpillars eating the dill in the garden. That’s what they love to eat, and what they love to lay their eggs on after metamorphosis.
