Hello my friends!! I thinks it’s time that I propagate my variegated bear paw cactus. I have never propagated before and would love some pointers!!

Unlucky propagator here so no tips but that pot made me cackle so hard oh my god

Thanks!! It’s my favorite. I also have one that’s says “grow dammit”

How did you get yours so happy? Mine is a small leggy mess despite research telling me they don’t require much light

He loves his grow light. And I do bottom watering except when I am fertilizing. And I follow the instructions in this app. Other wise. He’s be dead. This is my 4 or 5th bear paw I think??

I have yet to propogate one of these, but you might wanna consider carefully separating them into separate little pots rather than propogating, since they seem to be growing quite well how you’re already keeping them. I know how sensitive they are to their leaves being touched or being moved. My best guess is that they might too better as stem propagations rather than leaf props, given how fragile their leaves are. 🤔 hope this helps!
