So today I went to Home Depot and there was this monstera deliciosa that had roots and everything. The thing is that it was technically throw like a piece of trash. I took it home and I wanted to ask was it ok for me to have placed it in a new pot with soil.

The roots looked healthy and white

There was even a new leaf that was coming up.

It should be just fine 🙂 I usually don’t repot new plants right away if they are doing fine (unless it’s rootbound, has bad soil, etc), but normal monstera deliciosa are hardy and should handle it well. Congrats on your new guy!!

Appreciate you, thank you.

I would have done the same but it wasn’t in water or soil. It’s not a cutting because it had roots so I don’t know what to call it lol.
