Hi I need help. Do we allow the growing stem roots to go under the ground like in the picture or no ?

I do! It helps with getting more nutrients

You don’t have to. They hep stabilize the plant and moisture from the air. Some of my monstera’s are in the air/some soil-bound

those are called aerial roots! you can read up on it and decide for yourself but i let my monstera just have her roots wherever they grow. some people get little caps that go on the roots they look kind of like plugs but this can be for extra water, it’s not necessary tho
