Anyone know what this plant is? It’s coming up all over my garden and I want to know if it’s something I should be cutting down.

According to my iPhone’s built-in plant identifier thing, it’s a Japanese knotweed plant.

iNaturalist is a great app for plant \& fauna identifying its a research app for wildlife research with tons of experts and knowledgeable enthusiasts who identify things after their AI suggests an ID based on location and look and once 2 people have agreed on an ID it gets marked as “research grade” so it can be used in studies
