I found this beautiful Old Man of the Andes at Home Depot (orange flowers) and subsequently found out that flowers being hot glued to cacti is a Thing 😵‍💫😑 I did some research and it seems like the flowers probably won’t harm the cactus, so not a big deal in general (I will be trying to remove it tho). Some stores do sell cacti that have real flowers that bloom, like the Mamarilla shown below. Just wanted to give a heads up to anyone else who likes succulents and didn’t know this already! I def think seeing flowering cacti is worth a closer look!

I ranted about the flowers they glue to beautiful cacti too. Out loud ranted. Why do they need a plastic flower to be cool?! So lame

Add a little pizzazz to the cactus. That’s why I don’t go for those I feel like they are messing with the nature of the poor plant
