My mom brought me her last year. When she gave her to me she was perky and had a beautiful green almost a darkish green color. Now I see her getting lighter and like sad looking. I watered her last week so her soil isn’t dry. Not sure what type of plant she is. Can you guys help me out please.

It’s a dieffenbachia. They like a lot of light, I have mine in my kitchen window. It was doing the same thing when I had it in a darker location.

Might be an adjust period getting used to different light and moisture
