FRIDAY!!

And it’s here - the weekend when this cutie, and all my other other roommates I have (except for my hubby and daughter), are going to get some new soil.

Is anyone else up for the repotting challenge this weekend? 😃🪴

Woo! Repotting next weekend for my lil roomies….couldn’t come any quicker!

I received a small parlor palm, a snake plant, and a spider plant in the mail three weeks ago—a little the worse for wear. I’ve been letting them recover and am going to repot them today!! 🎉 Next weekend, I’m repotting three of my bonsai, as well. Plus, I’m planting some seeds I’ve been cold stratifying for two months. I’m super excited!!

My app is recommending repotting next weekend and I am not enthused. Can we not reuse or amend soil?

Totally get that it can feel overwhelming, boring or just blah. It’s absolutely possible to make shortcuts such as mixing up the old soil with some new, adding some new soil on top of the old etc. Even if they always will be shortcuts I always think it’s better than nothing 😃 if you don’t repot all into bigger pots then just double check that the roots hasn’t taken over the pot it’s in completely 😅🙏
