Can you add a way to input starting plants from seed? The initial care schedule will be a bit different as well. Also propagation from cuttings!

We appreciate your suggestion and we are currently working on how we can implement support for seeds and cuttings in the app. While we don't have a specific timeline for this feature yet, we are committed to adding it as soon as possible to make the app even more useful for our users. Emma…so glad you’re doing this! In the meantime I set up a “room” called the Nursery and will use that room for props. Even though the “room” is a section inside my studio.

Could you guys have a propagation option as well?? When to change water…when its time to transfer into a different medium etc.

We also have this on our idea list 😃🌸 Its not a perfect way of reflecting propagations in the app.

But, if you choose to propagate in water I would first add the plant in Planta > then enter the plant settings by entering the plants profile > settings in the right corner > change the soil to water instead.

In this way you can read the articles for propagating in water and the schedule is also better adapted for these cuttings.  
You will still get watering reminders, but when you do you can check the water and change if needed 🙂

Thanks! I’m a struggling yellow thumb. Only turning green because of this app! Thank you!!!

BTW I now have 32+ plants. I accidentally learned that the pruning of my Basil (may 2022-present) can become their own plant! This will definitely be a problem…I have 4 basil plants now and it’s only been a month or two that I’ve known this! 🫣 PESTO BABY!

Haha. But you can never get too much basil 😅! Basil sandwich, basil pasta, basil salad 🤩
