I bought a few carnivorous plants recently. I have small pots with a Venus fly trap, pitcher plant, and trumpet pitcher plant. I’m about to move them outside for the Spring/Summer and read that squirrels like to pick at them, especially the trumpet pitchers. Does anyone have any links to a decent looking protection idea for them. I have some mesh boxes, but that would keep out the insects. I could build a chicken wire device, but I was hoping to find some kind of nicer looking system. All I’ve found are larger boxes. They’re going to be on a railing, so something that is long and skinny would be better.

Also, any idea what type of trumpet pitcher that is? It’s pure green, and I’ve only been able to call it an “assorted trumpet pitcher” in the app. Haven’t been able to better ID it yet.
