Plant resurrection story!! In August, my husband gave me a big, lush, beautiful Hawaiian Ti plant, that within a few weeks developed a mite infestation and no amount of bathing or doctoring seemed like it was going to save it. It had 3 stalks, and after a little research indicated they could be water propogated, I took a desperate stab and chopped the 3 stalks off to propogate 3 plants (hoping at least one would survive.) All three developed roots, and I put one in dirt and kept 2 in water. The one I potted, died. For months, the water-based ones didn’t get better, but they didn’t get worse?  
But now! The older leaves are a little crispy at the edges, but WE HAVE NEW LITTLE SHOOTS!!! I think they might make it!
