# Birds of Paradise Im growing indoors to keep the massive leaves…

Birds of Paradise Im growing indoors to keep the massive leaves unbroken. 7th Leaf currently sprouting. Goal is to have 10-20 fully grown, unbroken BOP Leaves emerging from the same widening base, like a peacock tail when it fans open. Worried about the rootball over time. Anyone familiar with how BOP roots or have care tips to share? Hoping this works because it’s currently as tall as my ceiling and if it fans and even doubles in leaffage, could be a showstopper.

This is the biggest BOP I’ve seen grown indoors. How long have you yours for? I have no experience with their roots. Maybe you can repot it in the same pot if needed?

Not familiar with them unfortunately, but always wanted one, it’s so beautiful 🤩 Hoping that it will continue to thrive!

I grow mine indoors as well (from seed) but it’s not even close to yours in size, so 🤩🙌. Have repotted mine several times due to it outgrowing the pot, hasn’t been too much of a hassle (yet) but it’s starting to be a two person job (one holding the rootball and one balancing the rest). Otherwise I just go for: light, light and more light and some water (+ fertilizer) 😅🙌
