Question about the light meter when adding a new plant. When taking a photo of the window to determine the light how far away should you be? Meaning do I take a photo a foot from the window and then say the plant is 10 feet away from it or take the photo from where the plant is and also say it is 10 feet away, for example? Each would give a different answer.

A very good question! But I would recommend measuring the light right by the window (1 foot from the window) and then you use “distance from window” to get an exact light position for your plants 🙂. I hope this make sense, let me know if you have any other questions 🌱
