_Posted by Anton on 2023-01-31_

Many of my plants that only get natural light have gotten a little etiolated and leggy this winter. It’s hard to avoid if you don’t use grow lights and you have dark winter months but I think It’s alright. Looking forward to longer days ahead 🌻

It gives them some character 🥰 Are you going to chop them down?

I think so too. Yes I will probably restart them from cuttings again in spring, but for now I kind of like it

I have the same issue on a few of my cacti 😅

It’s hard to avoid unfortunately. But they’ll get new denser growth again this summer 😊

Yes, both me and my plants can’t wait for the light to come back ☺️☀️

I hear ya! But I actually think it makes them cuter (at least in some cases), almost like they get some personality 😄😎🤓

100% agree

Same issue with my umbrella tree.

Dude, you have no idea. Even with a grow light for some!!!

Yeah I know. If it’s a species that prefers or can handle lower temperatures in winter some etiolation can be avoided that way
