# Monstera help? I just re-potted my Monstera, which has grown quite a…

Monstera help? I just re-potted my Monstera, which has grown quite a bit since I got it.
I was reading other people‘s posts and it said that Monstera plants have a back and a front.

I can’t tell if this is two different plants that have intertwined roots or if it’s possible for a Monstera plant to have two major backs that are facing in different directions lol. One back is facing 10 o’clock and the other 2 o’clock.
I put in some moss poles to try and get the whole thing to grow upwards instead of splaying outwards like it has been.
Would love any advice or corrections if I’ve done something wrong based on the pictures. Thank you all.

There seem to be multiple separate monstera stems or plants within the same pot.

Thank you. Would it be safe to separate or would that be too traumatic assuming their roots are likely intertwined?

In my opinion your plant looks like it’s in good condition to intertwine it.If u need I can tell you the steps of how to carefully do it.

Just a quick question do you know if your plant is multiple monsteras in one pot?

I think it might be two different monsteras. That’s what another commenter said. It’s how it came when I bought it

Then after you have to repot it with a support system which you already have(the moss pole) already in place and attached to the vines.

After you remove the entire plant (including the root ball) I would gently loosen the roots and a tip:soak the root ball in water which would let it separate easily.
