Mine are doing that too. I have no idea why!!! Hope someone has ideas!!!!

Mine does that as he starts to push out a lot of new growth. Do you see any new branch/leaf growth starting anywhere?

I see a few new leafs coming in. So would it be helpful to cut of that one so it can give its energy to the new ones

It should drop off naturally soon. Give it a day or 2, and just lightly wiggle it back and forth. If it’s ready, it will come away in your finger with no resistance.
