# anyone else just love tiny plants? this is my miniature stonecrop…

anyone else just love tiny plants? this is my miniature stonecrop (unidentified but likely a sedum species); each rosette is less than 5mm across. this cat skull planter is so small i have to water with a dropper. it has no drainage holes but it is cement so excess moisture is wicked away— each eye socket gets about 3 or 4ml of water each watering, roughly every ten days. then, i tip it so that it is vertical and the excess water is “cried” away. these were just planted this spring so i am excited to see them fill out.

Any more pics of tiny ones that you could post? I’d love to see them. I’m running out of “big plant” room and those would be so cool. I have a lot of little knickknacks that would work for that. Thanks for sharing. I’ve really been looking for something new to try.

i have quite a few little ones, most are sedum or petrosedum sp. but i also have a little tiny echeveria ‘perle von nurnberg’ that has stayed about two inches across and some more mini waxy succulents: graptosedum, crassula, and pachyphytum. i will gather them for a little family photo and attach it in another comment later! i don’t know if you’ve seen any of his posts before but dave nonnon is the king of fun potting arrangements on here in my humble opinion; he makes holes in various thrift store knick knacks and trinkets with a dremel for his succulent/cactus collection, which makes for a really unique and beautiful display.

hope you don’t mind the delay, here is my collection of tiny guys! i love them all but i’m especially partial to the haworthia— the one on top i’ve had since i was 11. it’s the largest of the bunch at about 4” across
