I’m curious, with plants like the little Swiss. Does each limb only grow one leaf? I know the new leaf can then grow another, but if that one doesn’t make it is that the end of the limb? Will this limb ever grow another leaf?

So what happens is it will grow other leaves but it unfolds out of that current one leaf. Like the normal monstera deliciosa and pathos

So sorry it’s hard to explain without photos, but my Swiss cheese, and monstera and pathos already had theirs a couple days ago

There has to be a node for a new leaf to grow, but I can’t tell because it’s under the soil. If there is no node then it will just stay a leaf

My Calathea sprouted three new leaves from just one. I’m sure this lonely leaf will grow more
